Ichthyofauna Diversity and Its Distribution in a Low-Saline Lake of Indonesia

Lake Siombak is a tidal lake that an estuary around the covered with various mangrove trees. It interesting to study fish's spatial and temporal distribution as unique distinctive ecosystem. This research was conducted for year (from September 2018 August 2019). Fish sampling performed by installing gill nets (mesh size 1 inch) cast 0.5 inch). Gill were installed at high low tides during full moon. showed there 27 species of 20 families. Tilapia, Mudskipper, Indo-pacific tarpon, mainly Rice are always found in Siombak. The fish group consists freshwater (mainly: Catfish, Snakehead), brackish fish, tarpon), marine Milkfish, Kanda mullet, John's snapper). actual resident Oryziidae, mudskipper. Other temporary except Lutjanidae Scatophagidae visitor tide salinity periods (dry season) Synbranchidae (rainy season).
